Nowmullets are back in fad, has anyone tried 27.5" front and back on modern long travel 29ers while keeping the same 29" fork? Someone did swap in 27.5 fork with wheels front and back on for slalom racing at Sea Otter, MY16 Evil Following. The bottom bracket height went from 13.3" to 12.5". Wheelbase went from 1162mm to 1150mm.
Sales most people are sold on 29’s. So that’s what the companies are starting to push. Diamondback still hasn’t some awesome 27.5 trail bikes with the release 4 and 5. But next year I think they will be 29’s. I love my 27.5 wheels on my DH and hardtail, but modern 29” trail bikes feel a lot better than they used to.
